At AIT, agility is more than a framework. It is a mindset that shapes how we solve problems, collaborate, and deliver value.
As part of our ongoing Carnival of Growth initiative, we recently concluded a three-week Agile Transformation Workshop designed to strengthen agile thinking across the organization. Bringing together employees from different teams and disciplines, the workshop combined theory with hands-on practice to help participants experience the full agile lifecycle.
Learning Agile by doing Agile
Rather than learning Scrum through presentations alone, participants worked in teams to complete an end-to-end sprint simulation.
Throughout the workshop, teams practiced every stage of an agile project, including:
- Requirement gathering
Sprint planning - Daily stand-ups
- Sprint reviews
- Retrospectives
Celebrating teamwork and continuous improvement
The workshop concluded with a friendly competition where teams were evaluated on their execution, collaboration, and application of agile principles. Congratulations to the Sprint Strategists, who emerged as the top-performing team through their consistency, clarity, and agile mindset.
While the competition added excitement, the greatest achievement was the collective growth demonstrated by every participant. Each team contributed with enthusiasm, embraced feedback, and supported one another throughout the journey.
We also recognized our facilitators for their dedication and guidance in helping make the workshop a meaningful learning experience.
Continuing the journey
Agility is not a destination. It is a continuous commitment to learning, adapting, and improving.
As AIT prepares for the opportunities and challenges ahead, we remain focused on cultivating an agile culture that empowers our people to collaborate effectively, respond to change with confidence, and build exceptional software for our clients.
The workshop may have concluded, but the journey from doing agile to being agile continues every day at AIT.
