We had and are still having one hell of an adventure, and here is how it went so far.
Founded by Hasnaeen Rizvi Rahman, Astha IT began as a 2-person team, building a CRM for a Swedish fintech company. The team was working from home and had no office. A part of our founding story can be found here on this blog post.
The “then” informal company incorporates itself as a legal entity, called Astha IT Research & Consultancy Ltd. It hires staff and moves to its first office.
It becomes a part of the tech fraternity in Bangladesh by joining BASIS.
Astha IT continues to grow as it signs long-term contracts with companies in US and Europe, and it moves to an even bigger office.

Astha IT reaches its 10th year and celebrates the momentous occassion with a grand gala. It was a massive party arranged in a luxury convention center with over a hundred guests, including reputed industry leaders (CEOs/CTOs of different tech companies), all the ex-employees of Astha IT and their family members, and of course the current team of the company along with their full families. We have launched our first foreign subsidiary company in Stockholm, Sweden called Astha IT Services AB. It will operate as our headquarter for the European region. Astha IT as a company has always had expansion in its DNA, and this particular one will serve some great purposes, such as – represent Bangladesh strongly in the EU market, attract customers of that region and bring more businesses for the country.

Commemorating a remarkable milestone as Astha IT enters its 15th year of operation by moving the headquarters to the US, legally becoming an American company. AIT opened its new Bangladesh office, designed to support a growing team and expanding ambitions. The 12,000 square feet space was built to foster collaboration, speed, and creativity, creating an environment where ideas could move quickly from thinking to creating.
AIT secured a multi-million-dollar investment from Fakir Fashion Limited, marking a major milestone in its growth journey. The partnership also established a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening long-term capabilities, accelerating expansion, and unlocking new opportunities for scale.
AIT partnered with the Payra Port Authority to develop the Smart Access Management System (SAMS), a major step toward building a smarter maritime infrastructure in Bangladesh. AIT expanded into Saudi Arabia through a strategic partnership with GeoTech, marking a significant step in its global growth journey. Unveiling its new brand identity, Astha IT evolved into AIT to reflect a broader global vision and future direction. Alongside the rebrand, a new website and positioning marked a shift toward a more unified, forward-looking identity, one that aligns with its growing international presence and expanding capabilities.
AIT continued its AI journey with the launch of Docomate.ai, expanding its focus on practical, real-world AI products. Alongside this, Upskill was introduced as an internal gamified learning platform to strengthen continuous learning across teams. With additional enterprise AI initiatives underway, these efforts reflect AIT’s commitment to building impactful solutions while growing capability from within.
