We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Shopify Developer to lead our Shopify development efforts. This role requires strong expertise in both theme and app development, along with responsibilities in solution architecture, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring junior developers.

Job Requirements:
- Design and develop customized Shopify storefronts using Liquid, Hydrogen, and React-based frameworks.
- Build and maintain high-performance themes following Shopify best practices: SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
- Implement advanced checkout and cart customizations using Shopify Functions and Shopify Scripts.
- Develop custom Shopify apps and server-side integrations using Node.js, PHP, or Python.
- Architect and manage complex product data models using metafields and metaobjects.
- Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, CRM, fulfillment, authentication).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers in an agile team.
- Use Shopify CLI, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to manage development workflows.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React (preferred).
- Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront and Admin) and custom app development.
- Proficiency with Shopify CLI, Functions, Scripts, metafields, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of metaobjects, variant architecture, and structured product data.
- Backend development experience with one or more: Node.js, PHP, or Python.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with agile development workflows using Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Shopify Plus and headless commerce (Hydrogen/Remix).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, A/B testing, internationalization, or multi-currency setups.
- Prior experience with Shopify migrations from other platforms.
- Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, Yotpo, Recharge, or other apps in the Shopify ecosystem.
- Understanding of token-based authentication flows and advanced integration strategies.
Academic Requirements:
Not much. If you can fulfill the aforementioned skill requirements, we don’t care about the academic backgrounds. Your skills matter. Certificates and CGPA are secondary.
But if you have a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in CS / CSC / CSE / Software Engineering, it’s a plus of course.
All we need from you is a super-hungry learning habit and a geeky-techie spirit.
If you have a strong portfolio of complex applications/software/tools that you worked on, that would be terrific.
Experience Requirements:
5 – 7 years. Proven experience in leading or acting in a senior developer role.
Monthly Salary:
BDT. 80,000 – 1,10,000 / month, depending on the experience bracket mentioned above.
