We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Lead with 8-10 years of professional experience to guide our frontend development team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in React.js and Next.js and a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance, and user-centric web applications. As a Frontend Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, setting standards, mentoring the team, and driving the success of our frontend projects.

Job Requirements:

  1. Lead the frontend development team in building responsive, scalable, and high-quality web applications using React.js and Next.js.
  2. Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines for frontend development.
  3. Collaborate closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  4. Architect and develop reusable, maintainable components and frameworks for consistent frontend delivery.
  5. Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and user experience.
  6. Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical support and fostering professional growth.
  7. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  8. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and frameworks in frontend development to ensure our tech stack remains competitive.
  9. Work with DevOps and QA teams to streamline build pipelines, deployment processes, and testing strategies.
  10. Manage project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure on-time delivery of frontend solutions.

Technical Skill Requirements:

  1. Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend libraries.
  2. Deep understanding of React.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Context API, Hooks).
  3. Proficiency in Next.js for server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes.
  4. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3.
  5. Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., TailwindCSS, Material-UI).
  6. Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
  7. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools like Lighthouse and Webpack is essential to ensure high-performing and efficient frontend applications.
  8. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills Requirements:

  1. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  2. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment and manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and integrating third-party APIs.
  2. Knowledge of frontend performance monitoring and analytics tools.
  3. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
  4. Exposure to cloud-based deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Academic Requirements:

Not much. If you can fulfill the aforementioned skill requirements, we don’t care about the academic backgrounds. Your skills matter. Certificates and CGPA are secondary.

But if you have a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in CS / CSC / CSE / Software Engineering, it’s a plus of course.

All we need from you is a super-hungry learning habit and a geeky-techie spirit.

If you have a strong portfolio of complex applications/software/tools that you worked on, that would be terrific.

Experience Requirements:

8-10 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js and Next.js. Experience in other frontend frameworks like Angular, Vue.js, or Svelte is a plus. Proven experience in leading frontend teams or acting in a senior developer role.

Monthly Salary:

BDT. 120K – 150K.
