We are seeking a mid-level Backend Developer with solid experience in .NET and Python, who is passionate about building high-performance, scalable solutions. Knowledge of other backend frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design scalable backend solutions that meet client needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance backend applications with a focus on .NET and Python, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless functionality and minimal downtime.
  • Participate in code reviews, share constructive feedback, and uphold high standards of software quality.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software architecture to enhance maintainability, scalability, and performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
  • Stay current with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and tools to propose innovative and efficient solutions.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proven experience in backend development, with strong expertise in .NET and/or Python.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles and experience building distributed, non-monolithic systems using microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts and hands-on experience with both relational (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, etc.) databases.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly valued.
  • Exposure to message brokers or streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of how to select appropriate compute, storage, and messaging services.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for backend services.
  • Strong grasp of software design patterns, modular architecture, and clean code principles.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing external service dependencies.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a love for optimization and efficient code.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in team settings.
  • Bonus: Demonstrated skill in algorithms or competitive programming (ACM, HackerRank, Codeforces, etc.) will be highly appreciated.

Academic Requirements:

Not much. If you can fulfill the aforementioned skill requirements, we don’t care about the academic backgrounds. Your skills matter. Certificates and CGPA are secondary.

But if you have a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in CS / CSC / CSE / Software Engineering, it’s a plus of course.

All we need from you is a super-hungry learning habit and a geeky-techie spirit.

If you have a strong portfolio of complex applications/software/tools that you worked on, that would be terrific.

Experience Requirements:

3 to 5 years.
Younger candidates who do not meet the experience requirements but possess good skills may apply as well.

Monthly Salary:

BDT. 50,000 – 1,00,000 / month, depending on the experience bracket mentioned above.
